This week marks 2 years since Steph & I got engaged, I cannot believe how quickly that time has gone. It’s now 1 year & 11 months until the wedding day.
2 years ago we went to Disney World Florida for the holiday of a lifetime, unaware that Steph was planning to ask me to marry her. On our first full day (24th April 2016), we spent the day in Magic Kingdom, with Steph managing to hide the ring all day, despite going through bag check and going on all the rides! Then as the sun started to set we headed back to our resort Caribbean beach, we explored one of the private beaches and that’s where Steph pulled out this gorgeous UP insprired ring box that she handmade and asked me to be her wife and of course I said yes.
Since then we have been non stop wedding planning. I’m a typical girl who’s been dreaming of my wedding day since I was little and I’m loving every single second of this wedding planning process and speaking with suppliers, planning the perfect day.
We were lucky enough to win an engagement shoot with the incredibly talented Emily Endean, an opportunity we jumped at and arranged to meet at Hengistbury Head. A photoshoot is very much out of our comfort zone, but Emily made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, she was easy to get along with and just the sort of supplier we’d want involved in our wedding day. She gave us direction without being bossy and she didn’t mind us being silly and awkward. Even though there was no cost involved in this, she was so professional and got straight to editing the photos, we had a preview photo sent to us the following day and had all 200+ fully edited photos sent to us within the week. We are over the moon with how the engagement shoot went and cannot thank Emily enough.
Be sure to give Emily some love over on her Facebook, Instagram & Twitter accounts: Emily Endean Photography.
I’m excited to document this amazing time in my life and I can’t wait to share even more.
